We are looking for an experienced Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Marshall, TX! This person will be responsible for directing and coordinating the warehousing and delivery functions.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Manage the efficient workflow of warehouse and associated receipt and delivery of cabinets for new production homes.
  • Perform job-site safety inspections per company standards.
  • Maintain active Department of Transportation (DOT) files on all delivery drivers to ensure all local, state, federal and company standards are met.
  • Track key performance metrics, safety programs updates and on-going program information for presentation to branch manager.
  • Maintain log for all company and leased assets and monitor preventative maintenance in compliance with company standards.
  • Liaise with business development, field support and customer service to resolve issues and ensure support plans are in place to maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Support logistic system enhancements by soliciting user feedback, providing technical requirements, and testing modifications.
  • Prepare weekly run reports for CWG drivers for Marshall Texas
  • Prepare daily CWG Trailer Accountability Report
  • Back up shipping office is needed during absences to ensure all paperwork is completed and loads are ready to ship on time.


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 4 years residential product delivery and/or warehouse experience.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Proficient computer skills required, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated successful ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with external customers.
  • Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business or related field.
  • Prior ERP experience (Oracle).
  • Ability to read blueprints and layouts.
  • Familiarity with the cabinet industry and product.
  • Experience in the building industry.
