*Job Description *
This is a Direct Hire opportunity for an Agricultural Field Diesel Technician with an hourly rate of $25-35/hr in
Taylor, TX. The standard work schedule is from 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri, but flexibility for weekends
and extended hours is needed based on workload. This role is primarily conducted in the field,
the ability to work in all elements is a must.
What you'll do as an Agricultural Diesel Tech
- In the field, diagnose and recommend service and repair actions for agricultural and
commercial equipment
- Show and explain to service writers and/or customers what and why a component failed
and what the repair process looks like
- Assist service writers with creating repair quotes based on extensiveness of the repairs
needed
- Conduct preventative maintenance service for agricultural and construction equipment
*Work Experience *
Relevant Experience
- Hands on knowledge of farm (predominately hay) and construction equipment
- Experience repairing and maintaining Tractors, Combines, Balers, etc.
- Previous experience with Case IH and New Holland products a big plus
The preferred candidate should have the following:
- 2-3 years as a Field Diesel Tech
- Diesel Tech training in either a formal or on-the-job environment
- Case IH Certification preferred
-Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours depending on workload
-Pass preemployment screenings including background check and drug test.
