Position: Digital Marketing Manager
Team structure: The Digital Marketing Manager will have 5 people reporting to them (about 10+ in creative/marketing group total)
Environment/Culture: An eccentric/revolutionary boutique firearms company, the owner is a big part of the brand, does a lot of exotic hunting etc.
Location: Dover, NH (5 days onsite)

Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development:
- Forge and execute holistic digital marketing strategies to meet organizational objectives encompassing sales, brand exposure, and lead generation.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis, scrutinizing competitor offerings and demographic data to inform strategic marketing decisions.
- Establish precise goals, KPIs, and timelines for digital marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals.
Content Creation:
- Supervise the production of captivating digital content, spanning blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, and multimedia materials.
- Collaborate closely with graphic designers, copywriters, and other team members to craft top-tier marketing collateral.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand identity, maintaining consistency in style, quality, and tone.
SEO & SEM Management:
- Optimize website content and architecture for enhanced search engine visibility, ensuring seamless digital presence.
- Oversee PPC campaigns across diverse platforms including Google Ads and various social media channels.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, making necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
Social Media Management:
- Devise and execute social media strategies across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more.
- Monitor social media channels, engaging with followers, addressing comments, and resolving concerns.
- Analyze social media metrics to gauge engagement, reach, and growth, implementing corrective measures as needed.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and analyze digital marketing metrics encompassing website traffic, social media engagement, and email open rates.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, spotlighting campaign performance, insights, and recommendations.
- Utilize analytics to identify enhancement opportunities, driving data-informed decision-making.
Email Marketing:
- Design and oversee email marketing campaigns, incorporating segmentation, personalization, and automation.
- Monitor email campaign performance metrics including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, adjusting strategies as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Foster close collaboration with cross-functional departments including sales, product development, and customer service, ensuring alignment of digital marketing efforts.
- Communicate digital marketing strategies, objectives, and performance updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Stay Current:
- Remain abreast of digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
- Attend industry conferences, webinars, and workshops to stay informed of emerging developments.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing or a related field.
- Proficient understanding of SEO, SEM, and content marketing strategies.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and practices.
- Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or certifications in digital marketing.
- Prior experience in team or project management.
- Knowledge of web design and development principles.
- Advanced copywriting abilities.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms including Google Analytics, Google Ads, X, and social media management platforms.
Initial Task List:
- Take ownership of and maintain the social media strategy and plan.
