The work pattern for the internship is Hybrid. This internship starts July 8 and will last 8 weeks.
The Role
This role will assist Legal in attaining their 2024 projects and goals. As an intern, you will be working within our filing tracking system FilingRamp, updating internal filing folders and documentation, providing insurance regulation/competitor research and completion of specific projects. In this role, you should expect to learn general knowledge of the insurance regulatory environment and requirements, an understanding of the importance of meeting state-assigned deadlines and how an insurance policy works.
Who you are
- Preferably a candidate who is attending college or is college-bound for any degree, able to work with limited direction/independently, and can solve simple problems or if on a larger scale, explain them to their mentor(s).
- An interest in the insurance industry is not required, but is encouraged.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate well within a team.
