Job ID 4490 Country United States State/Province Arizona # Positions 1 Category Sales - All City Tucson Additional Locations United States-North Carolina United States-Georgia United States-California United States-Arizona The motivated, detail oriented sales professional will lead efforts for the Consumer Products Strategic Business Unit focused on Home Depot and Lowes Regional Buyers and Key Decision Makers. This sales professional will manage all aspects related to both Home Depot and Lowes regional relationships including sales, regional trends and opportunities, in-store execution, training and off-shelf planning.

Responsibilities

* Partner with Home Depot and Lowes Regional Buyers and Rain Bird National Account Managers to develop and execute a strategic plan to grow sales & market share while enhancing Rain Birds presence in store

* In collaboration with Rain Bird Consumer Products Marketing, develop differentiated sales programs and promotions to target localized opportunities

* Lead internal efforts focused on Home Depot and Lowes by communicating local needs/ opportunities to the Consumer Products Marketing, Engineering, Quality and Operations teams

* Embrace role as field contact for Home Depot and Lowes regional operators, and develop relationships with personnel in key geographies

* Actively work with Home Depot Merchandising Execution Team (MET) and Lowes Merchandising Service Team (MST) leadership to ensure planogram execution and everyday retail basics in store

* Partner with the internal Rain Bird Consumer Products team on developing a training program to communicate Rain Bird features and benefits that differentiate versus the competition to empower store associates to sell Rain Bird

Qualifications **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**

* Undergraduate degree

* Experience calling on Home Depot and Lowes stores and regional key decision makers

* Five years of experience in sales, marketing, product management, regional big box retail management or account management calling on stores

* Demonstrated vision, detailed planning, and superior execution in prior assignments

* Aptitude for quantitative analysis and strategic and tactical thinking

* Strong written and verbal skills

* Superb presentation and negotiation skills

* Ability to influence and to achieve results from people with no direct reporting relationship

* Willingness to travel up to 50% of work schedule

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**

* MBA degree

* Knowledge of irrigation products and sales experience with Home Depot & Lowes

* Well-developed category management skills
