The QTI Group is assisting our client who is seeking to hire a full-time **Assembler** to join their team! This well-established company, located in Waunakee, is one of the world's largest leading manufacturers of drive technology for mechanical and electrical solutions. The primary responsibility of this position is assembling gear reducers, gear motors, and other drive components per information on work order. This is a DIRECT HIRE role on 2nd shift and operates **Monday through Thursday from 3:00 pm to 1:30 am** (OT 3:00 pm to 3:30 am) and offers a pay rate of $20.75 per hour and a great benefits package. **Responsibilities:**
* Assemble gearboxes to work order instructions
* Check work orders for accuracy
* Visually check parts for quality
* Test units for audible noises
* Rework and correct any noise or leakage problems
* Work related to maintaining the 5S program and Kanban system
* Be an active participant in the companys suggestion, quality, efficiency, and cost savings programs
* Perform other duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
* HS diploma or equivalent required
* Previous assembly experience preferred
* Ability to read and write
* Basic math skills
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand and move around for 10 to 12 hours per day
* Must have reliable transportation to Waunakee
