Staff Accountant - Hybrid in DC

About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client is a long standing non-for-profit organization in Washington, DC!
• Due to a medical leave, they are hiring an Staff Accountant in their DC office!
• Position is hybrid (3 in, 2 out)
• Pay: $30-34 per hour, Mon-Fri, 8:00a - 5:00p.
• Duration: Contract-to-Hire

Overview of the Staff Accountant role:

• Full-cycle AP - domestic and international payments
  • Processing 20-40 invoices a week
  • Complex matching process
  • Oversee an AP Inbox
• Account reconciliations and JE's
• Ad hoc projects/reporting

Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• 2-4 years of Staff Accountant experience
• Serenic Nav experience is a plus
• Non-profit experience is a must
• Extremely organized, able to multi-task effectively and attentive to detail
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to work independently
