Position Summary

This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and will be responsible for operating different stud press machines and assisting CNC Cell Operators, as needed

More specifically, this position will be responsible for activities including, but not limited to the following:

Supports Hub production through different processes including

*

  • Assembling hubs and races/bolts
    * Operating a stud press machine
    * Moving hubs to and from conveyor



    Requirements

    * High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not required
    * Prior manufacturing experience working on an assembly line preferred, but not required
    * Abillity to read and comprehend work instructions and other simple documents. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and looks for ways to promote quality
    * Observes safety procedures
    * Maintains good attendance and work ethic
    * Hand tool experience is a plus. Also working with hubs, races, bolts, stud press machines, pallets, and conveyor belts

    * Physical requirements
    * Lifting up to 70 pounds
    * Standing, reaching, balancing, stretching lower extremeties constantly
    * Grasping, pinching and fine manipulation frequently
    * Bending and squatting occasionally


    * Work Environment
    * Working indoors where temperatures could be hot/cold, depending on season
    * Mandatory PPE for eyes, ears, hands, and feet to prevent exposure to hazardous materials or injury
    * May be required to work overtime, including weekends
