Test Engineer

Job Description:

Test optical and RF devices and modules to characterizeperformance.Work with design engineersto identify issues in new products.Support production efforts by characterizing products throughout theentire manufacturing process.Developprocedures and documentation to support production testing and new productintroduction.

Requirements:

  • BS degree or AS degree in electrical engineering
  • Experience with operating basic test equipment such asoscilloscopes, network analyzers and spectrum analyzers desired
  • Understanding of fiber optics and optical components
  • Ability to read schematics and understand basic circuitdesigns
  • Be able to communicate engineering concepts clearly andconcisely
  • Basic software experience (writing, editing, debuggingscripts, VB/C/C++ etc.)
  • Due to ITAR regulations, the candidate must be a US person, able to obtain secret level clearance.
