As a Themed Attraction Attendant at the Thrill Capital of New England....
**Youll contribute to our mission by:**
* Welcoming and engaging Guests, creating a fun and enjoyable environment
* Creating and portraying characters themed to the work area including but not limited to Rides, Food & Beverage, Entertainment, and other attractions
* Maintaining character integrity over the course of completing duties
* Performing basic duties of Food Department Restaurant Server and/or Rides Department Efficiency Positions; ensuring smooth operation of location
* Maintaining professional manner while screening Guests for ride requirements and special access needs
* Answering a variety of questions covering many topics affecting Guest experience and assist Guests as needed
* Multi-tasking and ensuring lines are flowing efficiently while adding touch of entertainment
* May also report to Rides and Food Service Management in the course of carrying out duties
* Following all delegated tasks assigned by Entertainment, Rides or Food Service Leadership or as stated in the Standard Operating Procedures
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
* Caring for and maintaining the upkeep of costumes, props, and accessories
* Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies
* Assisting in other areas of the park as needed
* Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
**Youll do it with your:**
* Outgoing, energetic personality; Acting, comedy, and improv skills helpful
* Ability to communicate and interact with large groups of Guests
* Ability to work on a team or independently
* Ability to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
* Sense of fun
**Youll know youre ready if you are:**
* Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
* At least 16 years of age or older
