The Role

Assist in all merchandise operations and fulfill company goals and objectives with an emphasis on customer service. Assist in managing merchandise operations to reduce cost, enhance revenues, grow client relations, and enhance the customer experience.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Be present and engage with associates and customers throughout the duration of the event

* Responsible for training, planning, assigning and directing event day associates; appraising performance when needed; addressing complaints and resolving problems

* Oversee proper display of merchandise in all sales locations

* Supervise any/all extra support staff to assure maximization of sales

* Oversee security measures for all sales locations both during and after business hours

* Maintain effective inventory control measures and perform a physical inventory of all sales locations at the conclusion of the event

* Oversee the un/packing of merchandise and displays of all sales locations for transportation at the start/conclusion of the event

* Effectively implement and manage loss prevention process; be accountable for product shrinkage (lost, damaged, stolen) from all sales locations during the event

* Oversee the capturing of all sales records (POS & scanners) on all products sold

* Oversee the collection of all cash/credit card receipts for all sales from all sales locations.

* Balance all funds collected at the event, as well as, deposit the funds in the proper bank account at the conclusion of each business day

* Complete other duties as assigned by management and supervisor

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* All applicants must be at least 18 years of age

* High school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.

* Minimum of two years relevant industry experience required; prior supervisory experience strongly preferred

* Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members along with willingness to set and maintain high standards of performance.

* Ability to operate independently and with discretion and work effectively under pressure

* Must be highly organized and self-motivated with strong time management skills

* Must have strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills

* Must be able to communicate with trades and unions and adhere to all Company protocols and regulations; must have expert knowledge on applicable systems, policies and procedures

* Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to ever-changing and fast-paced situations

* Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

* Ability to stand, walk, bend and move throughout the venue and at other offsite locations for extended periods of time

* Ability to work in a variety of different elements/environments including outdoor weather conditions and warehouse

* Must be able to travel 5-10 weeks/weekends throughout the year, an average of 10-14 days per event

* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form

* Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations

* Ability to communicate effectively with event personnel and Legends Global Merchandise (LGM) management

* Ability to visual merchandise locations independently and with minimal direction

* Basic knowledge of word processing, e-mail/Internet software and Excel Spreadsheet software

* Must be flexible to work extended hours including late nights, weekends and holidays

* Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations including but not limited to Legends COVID Preparedness Plan and Standard Operating Procedures, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.

* Follow and encourage your team to follow all safety policies and procedures, looking for and reporting any unsafe work conditions, and complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.

* Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) into the companys risk management system (Origami Risk) on the same day that the safety incident has been reported to you.
