**POSITION OVERVIEW**
We are looking for self-motivated and driven individuals who can support and promote a team atmosphere. This individual will do so by inspecting the quality of product and packing produce with care and momentum. This individual will learn organization skills as well as good manufacturing practices critical to food safety and the safety of our team. Work environment is around 39 degrees to ensure quality of produce.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**
* Packages product neatly and correctly in container in an organized manner.
* Packages product with consistent awareness and emphasis on quality.
* Follows verbal directions from Packout Lead, Quality Services, and Farm Manager.
* Obtains basic knowledge of folding, weighing, and labeling product and containers.
* Follows good manufacturing practices to ensure continuous safety and efficiency.
* Operates packaging machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
* Sanitizes packing area routinely before leaving for breaks and end of day.
* Smock maintenance.
* Employee has an individual responsibility to report all possible deficiencies or practices that could compromise food safety.
* Other duties as assigned.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
* Fast paced worker.
* High attention to detail and quality.
* Adaptability to fast pace environment and quickly evolving processes.
* Must be knowledgeable in all GMP standards pertaining to personal hygiene and inspection process.
* Ability to perform repetitive motion on a consistent and steady basis.
* Ability to stand or walk for a long duration of time, as well as the ability and willingness to work overtime at short notice.
* Must be able to work within a 39 degree environment.
* Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
* Ability to work weekends, as needed.
