Manufacturing Technician


Job Details

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Beltsville, MD. This is an initial 9-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.



Job Description:




  • Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.

  • Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.

  • Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.

  • Works with engineers in conducting experiments.



Requirements:




  • 1-3 years of manufacturing experience.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail.

  • Be able to work in a team-based environment and achieve goals with a "safety first" attitude.

  • Demonstrate basic computer skills, including navigating web browsers and using standard applications like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • US Citizenship required.
