Job description:
- Follow-up on outstanding unpaid insurance claims.
- Resubmit claims to payers when necessary .
- Research denied claims to identify root cause of denial by insurance payer.
- Add/Update insurance information in Electronic Health Record .
- Verify insurance eligibility/ coverage using electronic portals and via telephone.
- Submit online request for reconsiderations electronically to insurance payers.
- Resubmit clean claims to payers for reconsideration of payment.
- Answer incoming client calls.
- Make outgoing insurance calls to insurance payers.
- Post insurance denials in Credible.
- Post insurance payments and adjustments in Credible
- Accounts receivable, insurance reimburusement.
- Degree or on the job experience preferred.
