Who We Are:

Chemical Engineering Department develops, designs, fabricates, and operates technology development for the petroleum, chemical, and sustainability industries.



Objectives of this Role:

  • Document lab and pilot safety inspections.
  • Provide a safer and cleaner work environment by assisting with waste disposal and project organization.
  • Organize chemicals and waste materials for disposal and inventory.
  • Will help maintain inventories, parts, chemical, etc. per ISO9001 and ISO14001 requirements.
  • Work with safety and admin team to prepare training documents and safety meeting items.
  • Help keep CHPs up to date and poll responsible CHP officers.


Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Conduct lab inspections and track as a metric for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct lab packs, and process paperwork for chemical and waste disposal.
  • Conduct safety shower, fire extinguisher inspections.
  • Maintain inventories of spaces and projects, chemical and equipment.


Requirements:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years: Laboratory experience and/or working with chemicals.
  • 1-3 years: Experience with organizing tasks and communicating with customers or stakeholders.
  • 1-3 years: Experience with chemical waste disposal.
  • A valid/clear driver's license is required.




Special Requirements:

Must be a U.S. person (i.e., U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to ITAR work in section.
