ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Fulfilling the assigned duties and reporting completion of tasks to the supervisor. - Sanitize, clean, and maintain assigned work areas according to the department standards for bathrooms, breakrooms, and public areas using specific products. - Clean spills and other hazards, reporting to supervisors as needed. - Maintain organizational and communication skills. - Proficient knowledge of cleaning agents. - Assist other staff as needed, including laundry duties and cleaning hotel rooms. KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge and Certification Preferred: - Previous janitorial experience skills. Skills Required: - Accurate and detail-oriented - Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities - Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Abilities Required: - Ability to work fast and efficiently and complete multiple tasks under pressure - Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene - Ability to learn appropriate chemical usage and proper equipment usage - Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner - Ability to speak in a clear, concise and pleasant voice - Ability to communicate effectively using a two-way radio
