4207 - Junior Cryptologic Computer Scientist (TS/SCI-FSP)


Job Details

We are seeking a talented Cryptologic Computer Scientist at the junior level to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline and at least 2 years of experience in computer science areas such as designing/developing/using/evaluating mathematical models, methods, and/or techniques to study issues and solve problems, engineering (electrical or computer), and/or high-performance computing. Proficiency in Python, C, C++, and Java is essential, and the candidate must have an active TS/SCI FSP clearance (MD customer only).

Our Client focuses on Software Engineering in the Cloud and Cyber Security domains. Our client's specialties include implementing real-time solutions and analytics through the use of interactive applications and the integration of industry-standard software stacks for both enterprise data intelligence and cyber security protection against network threats and exploits.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop software solutions using Python, C, C++, and Java to support cryptologic computer science activities
  • Participate in the design and development of mathematical models, algorithms, and techniques to solve complex problems
  • Conduct analysis and evaluation of software systems to ensure compliance with customer requirements and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement complex software solutions
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in cryptologic computer science and related fields
  • Assist senior team members in various tasks as required

Must-have:

  • BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in computer science area (i.e., theoretical or applied), designing/developing/using/evaluating mathematic models, methods, and/or techniques (e.g., algorithm development) to study issues and solve problems, engineering (electrical or computer), and/or high-performance computing
  • Proficiency in Python, C, C++, and Java
  • Active TS/SCI FSP clearance

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • Familiarity with cryptographic techniques and protocols

Salary: $81,000 - $120,000
