The Space industry seems to be taking off in the new year with no signs of stopping right now. This electrical engineering business are reaping the benefits of provided specialist engineering for the exploration of space. They specialize in designing and manufacturing bespoke electrically engineered products supporting systems such as Satellite Systems, Communications, Navigation and RF Technologies.
Due to continued success in all their markets, they are looking for the additional of a project management professional who will manage their current space programs. The successful person will be working across engineering, operations, and sales to ensure space orders are being managed effectively throughout the production process.
This Project Manager will act as the point of contact to the customer directly and relay any information to the engineering staff to ensure products are in line with their client needs. Alongside this you will be expected to put together in-depth plans on delivery of products/solutions whilst providing extension plans, if necessary, based on custom program requirements.
Key Experience Required
- Proven Project Engineer, project manager or program manager experience
- Experience working within the aerospace, defense or space industries.
- Engineering background/experience.
- Ideally some electronics or electrical product experience.
- Some DOD experience would also be a big plus.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent resident (ITAR).
