About the Park:
New Orleans RV Resort & Marina - New Orleans, LA. 70126 - This park is a high-end, gated RV resort and marina with villas for rent, restaurant and bar and guest lodge in a marina setting located near Lakefront Airport. The Resort and Marina is operated by Applebrook Homes, LLC.
About the Job:
We are looking for talented candidates who are well-rounded maintenance pros to take on a variety of projects throughout the resort. In the full-time position, you will be responsible for helping us maintain and enhance our RV Resort and Marina.
- Perform minor electrical, plumbing and structural repairs
- Ensure mechanical equipment is operating properly and repaired as needed.
- Perform general building and grounds maintenance as needed such as repairs and painting
- Install and replace floors, stairs, doors and fencing as needed
- Repair doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs as needed
- Follow all company safety protocols
- Work on other special projects as requested
Experience/Skills Required:- At least 1 year of maintenance experience required
- Highschool graduate or GED required
- A sense of energy, integrity and dependability
- Dedication to serving customers and a job well done
- Proficient with hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge and experience with basic plumbing and electrical systems
- Must be able to work 8 hours shifts, five days a week from 8:30 to 4:30, including some weekends
- Must be within commuting distance to the Resort and have reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and actively walk through the resort | Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach | Able to work outdoors throughout the year | Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside
