**Warehouse Clerk**
**Department:** Production **Location:** Great Falls, MT
Warehouse Associates fulfill a critical role in our operations by answering phones, interface with customers, reference part numbers, provide assistance to customers, and participates in inventory. They also provide support to the service department. This is a critical position in ensuring that the company is able to locate and secure parts for jobs to be completed in a timely manner. Making sure we can access the parts in an efficient and cost effective manner ensures we are representing our customers best interest.
**Job Duties:**
* Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
* Fill work orders or requests for parts, tools or other stock items and deliver items as needed
* Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or transports orders to packing station or shipping department
* Mark materials with identifying information
* Receive freight as needed
* Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed
* Weighs or counts items for distribution within dealership to ensure conformance to company standards
* Use computer to enter records
* Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications
* Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment
* Transport materials and items from receiving or repair areas to storage or other designated areas
* Assure warranty parts and core area product flow follow company policy and procedure
**Desired Qualities/Skills:**
* Experience operating forklifts
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience using Excel, Word, Outlook, etc., preferred
