* Receives and verifies incoming orders. Reviews orders for completeness, ensuring that all incomplete orders are updated appropriately. Contacts customers regarding any discrepancies or missing information on their order updates the ERP system accordingly.

* Ensures product availability before order processing. Performs allocation of inventory to customer orders.

* Enters the appropriate customer and billing information on order forms.

* Sends order confirmations to customers regarding expected delivery dates. Follows up with customers regarding backorders/delays/etc. Monitors delivery dates.

* Resolves customer complaints regarding order processing issues.

* Keeps track of product inventory and alerts relevant departments when supplies run low. Issues purchase orders to suppliers for inventory required to fulfill orders. Expedites purchase orders with suppliers as needed

* Works with internal colleagues to find substitutions if necessary to fill a customer request

* Enters order confirmation dates on supplier purchase orders monitors open orders for On-Time delivery

* Cross trains with the Customer Service, Production Planning and Buying teams to assist with additional customer communications and coordination activities as required.

**Minimum Background & Experience:**

* 2+ years in a Customer Support Role either Customer Services, Administrative, or Departmental support

* Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.

* Strong phone contact handling skills.

* Great active listening skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.

* People-oriented.

* High Attention to detail.

* Ability to work under pressure
