Overview:

Aircraft Technician

The qualified candidate will report to the Director of Aircraft Maintenance and will be responsible for maintaining FAA airworthiness on both corporate jets and turbine helicopters.



Responsibilities:
  • Perform all required and requested maintenance, to include preventative and scheduled inspections of structural, mechanical, and electronic elements
  • Ensure maintenance tracking software is routinely updated
  • Perform marshalling and ground handling operations as needed
  • Obtain vendor proposals
  • Manage oversight of 5 plus employees during projects and off-site inspections
  • Advise vendors and third-party staff members during overhaul and refurb packages
  • Must know and follow all regulations set by the FAA


Qualifications:
  • Valid A&P certificate and passport
  • Previous experience working on Gulfstream jets and preferably turbine helicopters
  • A keen eye for detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Proactive trouble shooting skills. Open to continued skill development
