**Description**
****INTERACTION:****
* **Extensive interaction with hourly employees, Operations Management team and other individuals within the company.**
* **Must be able to communicate and cooperate with employees, supervisor, other leads, and coworkers in the company.**
****ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:****
* **Loading and unloading products from trailers using forklifts and other material handling equipment**
* **Stores products in proper place within the factory and utilizes appropriate facility space.**
* **Moves and loads factory waste products into the appropriate receptacle**
* **Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas**
* **Identify and label materials and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory.**
* **Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them**
* **Perform and report cycle counts**
* **Follows company standards and regulations, adheres to all forklift safety requirements**
* **Demonstrate appropriate work skills, technical accuracy, efficiency and conformity to company policies.**
* **Reports any faulty equipment, damage to racking, or other potential safety hazards**
* **Meets with supervisor to determine daily and weekly work priorities and adjusts work activities accordingly.**
* **Helps new employees learn required job skills.**
* **Administers general preventative maintenance duties**
* **May at times monitor and prioritize transport of various products and materials according to operational and production requirements in the factory.**
* **Assists in developing less experienced team members.**
* **May be required to perform other duties and functions or assist in other departments as needed depending on the needs of the business.**

****QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:****

* **Experience operating a forklift and other load bearing material handling equipment, prior forklift certification is preferred.**
* **High school diploma or general education degree (GED).**
* **1-5 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience in operating material handling equipment preferred**
* **Certification to ride forklift truck preferred**
* **Completion of NewSouth Window forklift safety training class is required**
* **Valid drivers license with class E qualification.**
* **Must be able to work well in a team**
* **Ability to read.write and to follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance**
* **Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and to lift heavy materials**
* **Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management computer software**
* **Experience in operating a variety of hand tools and equipment.**
* **Must actively participate as a member of the team and be willing to maintain high levels of productivity, occasionally sustaining longer working hours when necessary.**
* **Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work requirements.**
* **Attention to detail and established procedures, along with being well organized.**
* **Solid English language, reading and writing skills.**
* **Must have solid math and computation skills.**
