Are you proud to be the go-to person across a team? This international law firm is seeking a professional with blended HR/office management experience to jump in wherever needed across the team. Using your previous related experience, your role will offer variety across the HR, operations and support staff teams. Your objective will be to work internally with staff to assist with hiring, onboarding/offboarding, summer internship program facilitation, event planning and general office support needs. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, an excellent communicator and team player, and interested in establishing roots in their next role.

About the Job:

  • Manage employee hiring and training needs, including onboarding and offboarding processes with strong customer service.
  • Liaise with different departments (payroll, IT, etc.) to ensure the accurate and timely transfer of data or records.
  • Edit and update employee records including salary changes, address changes, name changes, etc.
  • Assist the HR Department with tasks that address and support efficient business practices.
  • Plan and manage memorable employee appreciation events and gifts to encourage staff engagement and retention.
  • Assist with incoming HR inquiries from internal staff.
  • Implement and manage the summer internship program, handling communication, event planning, expense reporting, tracking and follow-up reporting needs.
  • Provide extended assistance through ad hoc projects and opportunities to further the firms commitment to clients and staff.

About You:

  • Practiced and efficient. You are degreed with at least three years of experience supporting HR responsibilities or managing workplace operations, preferably within a legal setting.
  • People-oriented. You like earning peoples respect and trust by being the go-to person for your team.
  • Orderly. You flawlessly follow directions and are methodical when following-up on a task.
  • Tech-savvy. You can quickly learn new software systems and enjoy using new technology. Candidates who are already strong working across MS Office are encouraged to apply!

  • Extremely organized. You have superior organizational and time management skills, with an emphasis on following practice and procedures.
