Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and creative Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Dominion Wine and Beer. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, from menu development and food preparation to managing the kitchen staff. Knowing the importance of maintaining a healthy work culture, where communication and respect is the foundation to achieving a desirable professional environment Responsibilities: Develop and execute a diverse and enticing menu that meets our customers' expectations and aligns with our restaurant's concept and brand. Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency. Monitor and control food costs while maintaining exceptional quality. Collaborate with the management team to set and achieve revenue and profitability targets. Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Implement and maintain food safety standards and practices. Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and optimize cost-efficiency. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into the menu. Requirements: Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role in a high-end restaurant. Culinary degree or equivalent culinary arts training is preferred. Strong culinary creativity and passion for food. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food cost control, inventory management, and menu planning. Food safety and sanitation certification. Proficient computer skills for menu planning and inventory tracking. Strong communication skills. Basic computer knowledge, POS systems, office tasks, etc. Benefits: Emphasize work life balance, health insurance.
