**Warehouse & Logistics Specialist**
**Department:** Shipping **Location:** Fresno, CA
Job Responsibilities:
* Prepares daily shipments by processing picking list
* Process orders for shipping with either small parcel or truck freight
* Schedules carriers and export shipments with forwarders
* Provides freight quotes and/or packaging estimates
* Completes bill of ladings and/or export documents as needed
* Provides quality service by following organization standards
* Completes reports by entering required information (Daily shipments)
* Supports inventory controls with daily cycle counts and communicating any shortages
* Contributes to team effort by working with other team members as needed
* Complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
* Loads shipments with pallet jack or forklift into/onto trucks/vans
Qualifications / Skills:
* Communication Skills -- Excellent verbal and written communication is vital for both internal and external customers and vendors
* Computer skills proficient with Office 365 and ERP systems
* Coordination ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks
* Reporting skills record and file daily reports and communicate to others as needed
* Time management must communicate or request help if daily tasks will not be completed
* Planning plan ahead to ensure trucks are scheduled for each shipment
* Teamwork must be open to cross-train on multiple tasks
* Inventory control personal accountability and integrity are paramount to maintain accurate inventory. Shipments must be accurate and verified for correct parts and quantity.
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
* Flexible working hours and weekends are required
* Forklift experience a plus
