Job Description

Our team at Visa focuses on building, commercializing, and scaling Risk products. These products play a key role in securing the Visa network, helping clients mitigating fraud and operational losses, and upholding trust in the Visa payment ecosystem.

The intern will work on the commercialization of one of the Risk Products.

Example of intern projects include:

  • Conduct a market analysis and produce recommendation for target markets to further scale the product
  • Finalize product value proposition, sales narratives, marketing, and communication plan to build awareness for new product coming to market
  • Lead the development and execution of go-to-market strategy
  • Develop a pricing strategy and revenue model for target client segments
  • Drive product innovation by understanding customer needs and market trends
  • Perform win-loss analysis and recommend growth strategies to increase client penetration
  • Run pilots and proof-of-concepts for clients globally
  • Develop process to centralize client feedback to systematically inform product strategy, go to market plan, and service delivery
  • Partner with client services and SMEs to build implementation & client servicing support plan
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Students pursuing an MBA Degree with a graduation date in December 2024 or later
  • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications that demonstrate professional judgment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • The ability to solve strategic and complex business problems
  • Skilled in overseeing a full product lifecycle, incorporating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization, and managing pre and post-launch execution
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and an eagerness to collaborate with members of your team as well as other Visa teams
  • The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on
  • Strong ability to collaborate
  • Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary for a new hire into this position is $46/HR USD which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus.
