Description
Warehouse Worker Needed: Previous warehouse and/or logistics experience with pallet jacks, power tools, and forklifts preferred; Competitive hourly wages starting at $18.00- $22.00 per hour based on experience
Our warehouse team is essential to managing our clients' assets accurately, efficiently, and without damage. You will be given the training, management, equipment, facilities, and app-based technology to succeed in our fast-paced environment. Olympia works with residential and commercial clients and stores a wide array of products. Every day you will have a variety of responsibilities. You and your team will rely on each other to learn new skills, overcome obstacles, and get the job done right.
As a Warehouse Worker we would expect the individual to be trained and then be able to do the following:
- Load and unload 3rd party in-bound & out-bound shipments
- Complete warehouse forms to track customers storage
- Sweep and maintain a clean work space
- Learn and adopt best practices regarding inventory control.
- Assist customers in vault access as needed following prescribed process and safety requirements.
- Ability to lift items of varying weights and requesting assistance of those items weighing 50 lbs. or more
- Bailer operation and forklift operations training and certification will be provided
- Ability to cover for shipping/receiving manager and warehouse manager as needed.
- Individuals in warehouse are also expected to have knowledge of all mover responsibilities including packing, wrapping, materials identification and use and proper lifting, pushing, pulling and moving techniques where safety is a priority.
QualificationsREQUIREMENTS:- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have reliable transportation to branch location
- Must have authorization to work in the United States for any employer
- Must be willing to undergo a criminal background investigation
- Above average energy, attention to detail, and organization skills
- Previous warehouse and/or logistics experience with pallet jacks, power tools, and forklifts preferred
- Ability to be on your feet 6 to 10 hours a day
- Must be a team player and ready to tackle any challenge
- Available for on-time early a.m. schedule
