Job Summary:
A Warehouse Technician is responsible for varied daily tasks such as restocking shelves, accepting incoming orders, processing, and packing orders, counting inventory and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner. Performs all work with the highest quality and efficiency.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Inspects incoming stock/materials for conformity to purchase orders and packing slips.
- Assists in the inventory of warehouse stock and inventory reconciliations. Assists in maintaining warehouse and related tools and equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly condition Prepares and/or distributes incoming/outgoing mail; sorts, weighs, and stamps mail Wraps, packs, logs, and otherwise prepares parcels and goods for shipping.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities- Ability to learn safety rules and regulations related to warehouse operations and equipment usage.
- Maintain accurate warehouse and inventory files and records as assigned.
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment to include delivery vehicles and forklift.
- Understand and follow both oral/written instructions.
- Ability to read and write at a level required for successful job performance.
- Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform required duties safely and effectively.
- Establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.
- Work well both independently and as a member of a high-performance team.
- Punctuality and ability to meet daily schedules.
- Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Education and Experience:- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of related experience or comparable training preferred.
- Proficient in English speaking and writing; bilingual is desired.
Working Conditions:- Employee may need to lift up to 50lbs and requires full range of motion.
- Employee will be required to climb 6-ft to 10-ft ladders to access work.
- Employee may come in contact with hazardous material and/or substances while working.
Employment Requirements:- Must be able to pass all background and drug screens.
- Employee is required to have a good driving record and a valid driver's license.
Pay Range: $16.00/hour to $18.00/hour DOE
