Primary Functions

  • Use your experience and knowledge to support operations in keeping the process running, by daily monitoring of process equipment
  • Troubleshoot and Evaluate Root Causes - process, equipment, and maintenance issues.
  • Keep preventive maintenance for equipment up to date to improve reliability. Preparation and commitment to minimize calls outs.
  • Complete all Work order in a timely manner. Work Order tracking from initiation to closure (inserting written notes in the Work Order as work is completed and/or current status).
  • Support trainees and new hires to assure proper training for our equipment including Mechanical, Instrumentation and Electrical requirements by assisting with On-the-Job Training (OJT) and coaching.
  • Effectively communicate daily activities with Operations, Maintenance, and Support staff.
  • Use craftmanship when completing task. Take time to fix issues right the first time.
  • Work with supervision to improve maintenance procedures. Provide recommendations and/or design for process improvements.
  • Work directly with Planner to understand and help kit work orders, keep clean work areas and shop cleaned daily.
  • Ability to work overtime when necessary and work the on-call rotation when scheduled
  • Take ownership of plant equipment and learn process and different systems we have on-site. Be responsible for learning and mastering the function of equipment and process systems.
  • Stop an activity that could result in injury or harm the environment
