We are a premiere health care provider in the communities that we service.Assistant Director of Resident Care, LPN - Essential Functions:Oversees the delivery of care to residents to ensure that emotional, physical, psychological and safety needs are met through all program services and activities.Supports company's programs and utilizes systems in the delivery of care to residents; including but not limited to: Electronic Health Records (EHR)/Documentation and Electronic Medication Record (eMAR)Conducts residents' assessments according to State regulations and company standards using EHR; and, completing associated Service Plans and POC task assignments within established timeframes.Collaborates with key team members to discuss residents/families factors causing changes in level of care.Oversees the Spring Cottage (memory care) Signature Touches program to ensure compliance with company policy for quality of memory care.Ensures compliance with all state regulations.Recruits, trains, evaluates, disciplines, and terminates nursing department associates in accordance with Spring Hills, LLC Human Resources Policies.Using scheduling program to create/maintain work schedules to ensure appropriate staffing; uses Time & Attendance and to monitor and to keep nursing payroll within the established budget.Utilizes company tools to manage the nursing department budget; including use of department Spend Down and review of monthly financial statements.Maintains inventory and requisitions nursing department supplies/equipment to ensure supply is adequate and residents are being bill appropriately.Ensures all accidents/incidents are completed per company standards and State regulations. Oversees associate accident reporting process.Audits nursing department documentation to ensure company policies and practices are in place, and in use, at all times.Routinely meets with nursing department staff to ensure their understanding of company policies and to educate/re-educate, as needed.Participates in semi-annual Compliance Audits and develops plans of correction, as required.Works closely with vendors to ensure quality delivery of onsite specialized services, e.g.: physicians, pharmacy, laboratories, etc.Is familiar with and understands emergency equipment and procedures. Participates in annual disaster drills and monthly fire drills. Coordinates annual Elopement drills.Ensures that all nursing department staff attend daily Stand-Up and completes all required in-service and/or online training.Consistently participates on conference calls, implementing new policies and/or programs, as directed.Upholds company culture by consistently following: Our Mission, Our Team Member Promise, our Code of Conduct, and the Spring Hills C.A.R.E. Standards.Always maintains residents' and associates' confidentiality.Assistant Director of Resident Care, LPN - Experience and Education:A nursing degree or diploma, two plus years related experience in management, equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be a Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN) in the state of Virginia. Must have ISP and UAI experiance.
