TRISTAR is seeking several Senior Software Developer, Back End for our up coming government customer in Crane, IN -

This position is 100% remote

Position Description

:

The Senior Software Developer, Back End with user experience / interface design experience strongly preferred

Should be comfortable working autonomously

Experience with virtualization technology and containers is preferred

Participate in a team of developers to solve issues, create solutions, provide support for deployed applications

Contribute to overall system design and code quality improvement

Write, test, debug, and document software in C#

Position Responsibilities:

Write, test, debug, and document new code in C# that adheres to modern best practices and standards

Document code and engineering procedures

Participate in virtual team meetings

Assist in creation of user manuals and other technical documentation

Help to facilitate functional testing of software

Position Requirements:

Minimum of 6 years of Software Developer experience in web-based technologies using a combination of the following: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, REST, JSON

Experience with Blazor is a plus

Expert-level understanding of architecture and design patterns with a solid understanding of object-oriented design and clean coding

Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Postgres, or similar

Experience with source control such as Git, Subversion, or similar

Experience in an Agile development environment

Experience with project management software such as Jira, Gitlab, or similar

Fluency in English

MUST be a US Citizen

Must have active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one

Education and Certification:

BS in Computer Science, Informatics, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field preferred

Industry certification required for IAT Level II in accordance with DoD 8570 (for example CompTIA Security+) - willing to obtain prior to start date
