Responsibilities
  • The Clinical Coordinator will serve as a clinic lead for primary care and specialty practices.
  • Performs continuing educational training and assessment for understanding of best practices.
  • Will assist in the creation and lead the implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Assesses clinical patient care areas and clinical staff to ensure industry regulations and standards are met.
  • Trains Wellstone staff on clinical competencies and will maintain/update the clinical competency checklists as needed.
  • Assists, trains, and supports phlebotomy needs for Wellstone.
  • Occasionally assists with daily operations of clinic.
Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • Texas Licensure as Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) from an accredited institution.
  • BLS certification through American Heart Association OR American Red Cross.
  • 1+ years' experience of clinical training.
  • Proficient with Electronic Health Records.
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • 3+ years in a clinic setting preferred
