WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Fors Marsh is seeking an intelligent and motivated Customer Technology Analyst to join the Military Personnel & Family Research team. This individual's primary responsibility will be to support Microsoft Office (MS) automation programming for a custom survey reporting tool and to provide support, troubleshooting, and user support for MS Office template sets. This job is best suited for an individual who enjoys problem-solving, possesses excellent attention to detail, continuously strives to learn and develop, and prefers working in a cooperative environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Apply VBA skills to a custom VBA-based survey reporting tool to support the users through troubleshooting and with production.
  • Perform maintenance on the survey reporting tool, to include updating/backing up the supporting database as needed.
  • Update and revise the associated User's Manual and technical manual to align with current and evolving capabilities.
  • Provide user training on the custom survey reporting tool, including maintaining training and technical documentation, and conducting sessions with new team members.
  • Provide documentation, user support, training, and maintenance and enhancement of a client-specific macro-enabled template set, spanning MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • As needed, support users with formatting documents using standard templates, assist with PowerPoint briefing creation/editing and Excel chart creation, and create MS automation tools.
  • As needed, assist with client-specific automation efforts that include working with MS Office and may include working with R.

Qualifications:
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Expertise - must be highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (e.g., familiar and comfortable with programming macros).
  • Basic VBA knowledge required, intermediate preferred.
  • Three to five years of professional experience.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer relations skills.
  • Technical aptitude for learning new procedures and tools over time in this role.
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision and as a team member.
  • Proficient using Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentation slides.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Experience with R preferred.
  • Applicants may be tested on MS automation problems and documentation samples may be requested.
  • Applicants must be comfortable working with topics such as suicidal ideations.
  • Applicants may be subject to a low-level government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to sensitive information.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and consent to a full background check due to our federal contract requirements.

Salary: $76,000-$84,000

Location: Remote, United States Residents only
