Position Title Child Care Aide If part time, projected hours (per week) 10-20 Job Description
To assist in support of the children, teachers and staff of Early Childhood Education Children Center and Program.
Duties
Child Care Aides will assist in the care of children ages 6 weeks to 6 years of age. Child care aides will interact and carry out learning activities, including; reading books to children, playing various educational games and assist in other play with children. In addition, child care aides will help support the teacher to bring an element of safety and emotional well-being in the classroom and playground. The child aide will complete sanitation duties that are required for a safe and high quality center.

Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience working in group childcare setting
Physical Demands
Requires prolonged standing or sitting. Requires frequent bending, stooping or stretching. May require lifting average-weight objects up to 60 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires ability to distinguish letters or symbols.
