Responsibilities

The Saint John Hospital Pharmacy Department is looking for a dynamic Pharmacist to join our team. This is a per diem position, works under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, and helps with our inpatient and outpatient needs. This Pharmacist duties include, but are not limited to:

* visit with patients to obtain medication lists

* coordinates the activities of the pharmacy department to provide the highest quality of pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital, while ensuring patient safety

* the scope of patient care provided may include: General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics and Outpatient Services

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

* current state Registered Pharmacist License

* experience in hospital pharmacy operations, preferred

* BS Degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy, preferred

* BLS certification required within 6 months of hire and must be maintained
