Description

Join our dynamic team at NorthCare as the Manager of Crisis Services, a pivotal role dedicated to ensuring the effective operation and evaluation of mobile crisis intervention for adults and families. NorthCare is committed to providing top-notch mental health services, and this essential position plays a key role in our mission.

As the manager of crisis services some key responsibilities are:

  • Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the Mobile Crisis Team operations, ensuring completion of tasks, case assignments, and follow-up.
  • Provide expert leadership in the evaluation process, including risk and safety planning, mental status exams, and treatment planning for acute psychiatric conditions in adults and children.
  • Develop and manage effective practice work teams, implementing and leading change, mentoring staff, and empowering practice teams.
  • Collaborate with an integrated urgent care support services network to meet clients' needs professionally, respectfully, and in accordance with NorthCare's mission.
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to program staff, including hiring, training, evaluation, and support of professional development.
  • Conduct assessments and oversee ongoing case management of active mobile crisis intervention cases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the development of community-based crisis care and response systems.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, requirements are:
  • Master's degree in psychology, Business, Public Administration, Nursing, Human Relations, Education, Health Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Three (3) years in a management capacity.
  • Licensure in the State of Oklahoma in one of the mental health disciplines.
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention and strong critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word processing software and intermediate general computer skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Access to reliable transportation and a valid Oklahoma driver's license with current automobile liability insurance.
  • COVID-19 vaccination and adherence to CDC guidelines.

Must have and/or complete all required training within 30 days of employment with NorthCare Must have TB test within 12 months prior to employment with NorthCare or obtain within 30 days of employment with NorthCare.
