Our independence keeps us nimble, thoughtful, and resourceful, allowing us to invest in the best people in the business. **Role Overview** This role is focused on a national retail client and will include specific focus on motors/ auto space as well as other lifestyle and tech verticals. We are looking for a dynamic Vice President to oversee multiple workstreams, working with a fully integrated and passionate team to deliver best-in-class work. You are: An integrated marketer and communicator with an energetic presence and entrepreneurial spirit. Earned media-savvy with integrated agency experience. Experience in the motors/ auto space is desired! Passion for storytelling that taps into current conversations and trends is a must. You lead and mentor the team with a team first mentality, while pushing for great work; are purposeful and enterprising in problem-solving; embrace diverse trends, skills, specialties, and viewpoints. **Responsibilities:**

+ Serves as clients advocate within Edelman and facilitates understanding of their business, goals, and point of view

+ Drive integration, bringing together teams and functions to create programs considering a variety of platforms, channels, and audiences

+ Works on and implements annual strategies for client engagement, which address internal and external relationships we can leverage on behalf of clients and other meaningful experiences we can create for clients inside and outside the firm

+ Demonstrated understanding of earned media across broadcast, print and digital

+ Effectively identify and anticipate business problems and help clients solve them through applying deep industry and tactical knowledge

+ Anticipates whats next; helps clients get ahead of issues and capitalize on new opportunities

+ Participates in client budget management working closely with PMs

+ Build relationship with clients and colleague at all levels

+ Assembles, builds, and leads integrated teams

+ Measures, monitors, and advances client-agency relationships

+ Pushes for creative ideas; is purposeful and enterprising in problem-solving; embraces diverse trends, skills, specialties, and viewpoints

+ Effectively implements change for clients and agency in a way that demonstrates powerful and unique thinking; uses thoughtful, strategic insights and knowledge to balance risk-taking for clients and the agency; holds others accountable for open-mindedness and embracing diverse viewpoints

+ Helps identify and mentors junior and mid-level staff

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ At least eight years of relevant experience in Communications Marketing and/or related fields, including research, advertising, management consulting, media, or publishing
