As a Litigation Associate specializing in Consumer Products, you will play a pivotal role in representing our clients in a variety of litigation matters related to consumer rights, product liability, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Manage a diverse caseload of consumer product litigation matters from inception to resolution.
- Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law.
- Drafting: Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Discovery: Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting document review, and preparing witnesses.
- Court Appearances: Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and advising on legal strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with partners, senior associates, and support staff to achieve litigation objectives effectively and efficiently.
- Compliance: Stay abreast of developments in consumer protection laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive legal advice to clients.
Qualifications: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
- 2-4 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on consumer products or related fields.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and adversaries.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
