Scheduling Coordinator

has become available for a motivated and passionate individual wanting to further their career.About the Role:In the capacity of Scheduling Coordinator, you will be a responsible for responding to staffing requests, rostering staff to clients and meeting the expectations of our clients, participants, referring organisations and staff in a timely manner.The role will include:Answering phone calls and assisting with client and stakeholder enquiriesScheduling of support staff and ensuring all client services are filled in a timely mannerUsing a software program to enter service details/Service booking on VisualCareDevelop rosters to achieve efficiency and maximise the use of resourcesUtilise workforce to cover shift shortfallsProvide advice and support to internal customers, supervisors and employees throughout the workforce planning and utilisation process, ensuring accurate information is provided to stakeholdersEnsure compliance with all relevant legislation, standards, and regulationsWe serve people living with complex and post-operative care needs, dementia and cognitive decline, seniors, and adults living with a disability, so empathy is a must!!We liaise with brokers, other referral sources, staff members, carers, clients and their familiesProviding assistance with a high volume of inbound and outbound callsComplete rostering tasks within designated timeframeEnsure all client s contact is managed in an empathetic, friendly, engaging and patient manner to quickly build rapport, trust, and confidence with your stakeholders.Schedule:Monday to FridayQualificationsRequirements:Demonstrated experience in a similar high-volume staff rostering and scheduling roleDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of rostering and scheduling processesRelevant tertiary office management qualification -DesirableUnderstanding of this industry relations, awards, agreements and how they impact on rosters is a plusCERT III in home and community care, aged care or disability care is a plusExperience using VisualCare or similar rostering and scheduling software is highly regarded.Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbalDemonstrated integrity, professionalism, and high level of resilienceStrong planning and organisation skills with good attention to detail with data entryModerate competency in Microsoft Office skills.Preferred SkillsA successful candidate will have the following:Ability to provide exceptional support to our carers when they need assistance with anything related to our external clients - Empathy is essential!!!A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people.Able to work as part of a team.Willingness to participate in further training and education opportunities.Problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skillsEstablishes and maintains effective communication and harmonious working relationships.Systems orientated.Detail-oriented.Updates knowledge and skills by pursuing continuing professional development.
