We are in search of a dynamic and highly skilled Permanent Service Tech to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be a key player in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving our high-tech machinery. This role presents a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the efficiency and success of our operations. The Service Tech will be responsible for a broad range of tasks including installation, calibration, repair, and electrical troubleshooting. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position.
Responsibilities
1. Perform regular and preventative maintenance on a wide range of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures and identify solutions to restore functionality.
3. Carry out the installation, calibration, and repair of complex machinery, tools, and equipment.
4. Utilize electrical troubleshooting skills to resolve electrical issues with machinery and equipment.
5. Collaborate with the production team to understand and resolve machinery issues promptly.
6. Maintain an accurate record of maintenance work performed and parts used.
7. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology.
9. Provide technical guidance to team members and other staff as needed.
10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and safety.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 2 years experience as a Machine Maintenance Tech or in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
2. Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, installation, calibration, and repair.
3. Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical issues with manufacturing equipment.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
5. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
6. Proficient in using various types of computer software and systems related to the job.
7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical team members.
8. Strong understanding of safety protocols and standards in the manufacturing industry.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy machinery parts.
