Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented FMV Trainer to join our team in McLean, Virginia! This is an onsite position.

Ability to provide all qualification training and mission specific instructional material, briefings, and other deliverable materials in either hardcopy and/or softcopy format. Participate in cross-functional working groups and other technical exchange forums to assist in shaping and defining FMV tradecraft curriculum from the fundamental through advanced courses.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure that training development and delivery occur within the Government facilities provided due to the sensitive nature of the Program.
  • Maintain FMV Proficiency
  • Develop and maintain a Training Quality Assurance Plan that includes, but is not limited to, the following elements


Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum Five (5) years of combined work experience (professional/military) and education (AA, BA/BS, MA/MS, etc.).
  • This position is typically standard M-F work week; however, may be required to assist in real-time 24/7/365 support in a shift work environment based on requirements as well as maintain proficiency on all Motion GEOINT positions.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain special clearance or access beyond a TS/SCI level, as needed.
  • Proven Motion GEOINT Program Instructor to include.
  • Ability to be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Motion GEOINT Program Training Team.
  • Proven experience as an instructor or trainer for small-to-medium-sized groups (up to 15), preferably in a GEOINT, All Source Intelligence, or FMV training environment.
  • Proven excellent writing and briefing skills including command of grammar and business communication style (i.e. the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely).
  • Successfully completed a military, educational, or commercial certified program equivalent to the 40-hour NGA College, Instructor Training Course. Training program must include Instructional Systems Design (ISO) or the systems approach to training model, development of learning objectives; methodologies of lecture, demonstration, and practical exercise; adult learning theory, and use of training aids


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Course development experience (E-Learning or Learning Technology course development experience.)
  • Proven detailed working knowledge of NGA, Department of Defense, Federal, and Commercial Imagery systems and analysis tools.


Clearance Requirements:
  • Must have a TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain special clearance or access beyond TS/SCI level, as needed.


Physical Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess the ability to accurately discern red, green, blue, and yellow colors on a video screen
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Must be able to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment
