About the Role
Join Uber s Delivery Presentation Platform team to contribute to the development of high-traffic web and API services. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will lead the full cycle of platform feature development, drive the onboarding of internal customers, and maintain critical services. Your role involves creating efficient testing strategies, developing clean business and presentation logic, and ensuring an optimal developer experience.
What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points
- Ownership of platform feature development from requirement definition to documentation.
- Proficiency in Golang, Typescript, and Bazel is preferred.
- Strong understanding of HTTP and web development principles.
- Background in software engineering or related fields for 5+ years.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree or above in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related fields.
- Proficiency in backend development and web development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Golang, Typescript, and Bazel.
- Development experience in platform teams.
- Strong understanding of HTTP and web development.
- Experience creating or modifying web frameworks.
For New York, NY-based roles, the base salary range is USD$218,000 USD$242,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles and Seattle, WA-based roles, the salary range remains the same.
