Construction Estimator

Job Details

The Civil Estimator will spend their time communicating with customers, reviewing projects, verifying data and the scope of projects, and putting estimates together. The main responsibilities as a Civil Estimator will be to provide full estimating services on large and complex civil construction projects across the power industry and beyond, preparing project estimates, visiting job sites, and coaching and leading a small team of Jr. Estimators.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze project needs to determine effective and efficient solutions that keep projects on budget and on schedule
• Identify resources needed and obtain project material submittals from vendors to prepare submittal packages
• Visit job sites and communicate professionally with everyone on site, including but not limited to supervisors, teammates, contractors, clients and vendor partners.
• Provide overall support to the field and executive teams as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of estimating experience required
• 5+ years prior excavation, paving, or heavy highway field experience preferred
• Bachelor s Degree preferred
• High level of focus and depth of understanding the industry
