**Description**
The Wasserstrom Company is one of the top Food Service Equipment and Supply Distributors in the nation. Established in 1902, we are a family owned company with our headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. Our Purchasing Department currently has an opportunity available for an **Inventory Expeditor**. The Inventory Expeditor position is responsible for expediting purchase orders for procurement of materials.
**Job Duties**
* Expediting of purchase orders from various suppliers.
* Resolving receiving discrepancies.
* Provide timely information and follow-up to customer service issues relating to delivery and availability.
* Develop and monitor supplier performance measurements .
* Create and process vendor returns.
* Position involves a range of interpersonal contacts both within the organization and with the outside supplier community.
**Requirements**
* Preferred two - four years of inventory expediting experience.
* Must be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
* Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while still maintaining attention to detail.
* Must have strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
* Bachelors degree with equivalent work knowledge preferred or experience in lue of education.
