SUMMARYThe Business Analyst - Gaming POS Applications works with various IT Teams and end users on IT-related projects and initiatives in support of the property's POS applications and operations. This individual is expected to facilitate meetings to discuss end user requirements, status, issues, planning, training, and/or operational needs. This individual will write functional specification documents, test plans, training plans, deployment plans and policy and procedures in support of IT operations and projects.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Individual will be part of the existing team that will provide Level 1 support the current 33 gaming applications (41 by mid-2024)This individual will be responsible the centralization and execution of all POS configuration and menu execution from Oracle resources to internal, allowing fast turnaround of items and eventual cost savings based on future Micros implementation across the organization.Work with the properties and vendors for issue monitoring and resolution.With upgrades and release updates, these individuals will provide SME on CDI business and IT processes to the vendors for implementation as well as provide support during and after installation. Work with business to identify and improve business processes within the POS applications. Responsible for timely and complete communications between corporate IT team and all property IT staff.Perform analysis of the property applications needs and contributes to design, structure, and maintenance of the systems and architecture.Analyzes business and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirement specifications.Ability to plan, estimate, and schedule multiple tasks and develop detailed resource and project plans.Possesses technical knowledge of most phases of systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.Analyzes business requirements and defines information systems solutions to address complex business needs (requiring innovative and creative solutions and frequently involve multiple platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools).Provides support to users in system and software administration and usage.Communicate and coordinate maintenance schedule, backups, and downtime to users.Additional duties as assigned.REGULATORY Must be 21 years of age or older.Ability to obtain racing and/or gaming licenses as required in any jurisdiction where CDI operates. The Gaming industry is highly regulated and as such demands an extensive background check to obtain a license.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in information technology and/or 5+ years equivalent experience required.5+ years' experience in POS applications strongly preferred.Casino project implementation experience and understanding/experience with gaming system software applications strongly preferred.Excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to articulate/demonstrate 2+ major IT POS project implementations.Experience/understanding of gaming system software applications.Experience in general Windows & SQL Server functionality, operations, and security.Experience/understanding of the major business processes within the Gaming industry.Experience with planning, budgeting, and common business processes.Manage multiple requests and prioritize appropriately.Attention to detail and prompt follow up.Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously according to agreed upon schedules and budgets.Support a 24/7 365 information systems environment.
