Construction QA/QC Inspector

Allied Resources is looking for multiple Construction Inspectors in the Washington D.C./Baltimore area to support a variety of gas & electrical/power projects for a premier Energy company! A Day in the Life

• Oversee, monitor, and document the execution of construction/maintenance work for Transmission & Distribution powerlines and Substations.
• Perform thorough inspections of electrical infrastructure and equipment to ensure that they meet safety codes, regulations, and project specifications.
• Review project plans/electrical designs, checking for accuracy, compliance with regulations, and feasibility of implementation.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and any issues encountered during construction or maintenance, preparing comprehensive reports and communicate with project managers as needed.
• Oversee and witness electrical testing and commissioning procedures to ensure that the newly installed or modified systems function correctly & safely.

The Wish List

• 2+ years of QA/QC inspection experience in the Gas or Electric Utility industry.
• Thorough understanding of high-voltage power lines, substations, or gas distribution pipeline/mains.
• Ability to review & interpret project drawings & engineering specifications.
