Location: Rockville, MD
Position Title: Accountant
Salary: 70k-90k
Main Focus-
- Fully onsite initially and then hybrid eventually.
- Bachelors degree and 3+ years of experience
- Experience with Yardi would be a plus
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Assist with month-end close activities (posting journal entries, reconciliations)
- Assist with Financial statement preparation, analysis, and reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues.
- Provide support during the annual audit process.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years accounting experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required
- Yardi experience is highly preferred
- Large ERP software experience
- Excel Proficiency
- Excellent communication skills
