Associate Analyst

Internal Use Only - Grade 9/10

Position Overview:

As a Customer Experience & Commerce Analyst, you will join a team of accomplished industry analysts that are experts on the evolution of the customer journey. As a member of the team you will assist and, in some cases, lead a variety of our commerce and payments research efforts, including briefing with technology vendors, writing reports, analyzing survey data and presenting to clients. Your primary responsibility will be to cover a broad range of CX technologies with an emphasis on content and commerce and/or Advertising and marketing technology vendors.

Qualifications:

A successful candidate should have a minimum of 2-4 years applicable experience in a journalism, research or analysis role. Important qualifications include:

Strong writing skills with experience producing research reports or in-depth articles

Comfort with basic data analysis. Ability to communicate quantitative findings and recommendations in written and conversational business formats

Strong verbal communication skills and presentation experience

Background or expertise in fintech, e-commerce or retail industry required

Background or expertise in payments technology strongly recommended, but not required

Bachelors or Masters degree

Candidate Profile:

We are looking to recruit an Associate Analyst with a good mix of written and interpersonal skills. Our top priority is to find a candidate that can write clearly and succinctly. We are also seeking someone with an ability to present with confidence to a group of industry peers.

As an Analyst, you will be expected to work under the supervision of a Principal Analyst and Research Director within a geographically dispersed, global team. Daily activity will involve vendor briefings, client inquiries, report production, and advisory work.

You will focus on specific topics within our customer experience and commerce research and closely follow technology innovation, vendors, and market evolution. The objective with this role will be to develop expertise in your field and provide support for the broader team coverage, with the intent to develop sufficient expertise to enable you ultimately to work independently with minimal supervision.

Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $70k to $90k. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
