Qualifications and responsibilities for this Cabinet Finisher opportunity include:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of experience preparing, sanding or stripping metal or composite surfaces for the application of primer; OR polishing, buffing and/or touch up/artistic background; OR specialized technical school certification in related field
- Able to use standard spray paint equipment such as paint guns, sanding equipment, dual action orbital sander and common hand tools
- Refinish and polish cabinetry using a variety of techniques including staining, sanding, and applying specialty paints, ensuring adherence to design specifications
- Prepare and protect surfaces before painting, including sanding, steaming, filling, and covering areas, and mix paints according to manufacturer guidelines
- Utilize spray guns and other tools for applying finishes like urethane and lacquer, perform detailed touch-ups, and maintain accurate records of labor and time
